Just tried installing the barrel nut from the ss15 rail and you get it hand tight and it's almost perfectly lined up with the gas whole....
When you torq it you can not make it to the next gas hole, its stuck inbetween... Do I need a shim???? This is on a Noveske SPR barrel and Spikes billet upper if that helps for any reason... |

I'm thinking the barrel nut is out of spec since it comes in contact with the upper receiver by just hand tightening it. edit: beer can shim time Ok, so it's not contacting the upper receiver. But, I can not for the life of me get it to index to the next gas hole. It's directly in between the two. |
