I just purchased an 870 sling adapter, model # mct870-2L, from Brownells as listed here: Link. (Brownells # 100-002-338)
Both the MI label and Brownell's label list it as Left Hand (LH), but when I try to install it, it's putting the loop on the right side (ejection port side) of the gun. I also ordered a sling plate for the front of the gun (made by another company) and it's listed as LH and it has the slot on the left side (slide release side) of the gun. What am I doing wrong? FWIW, the part looks to be well made.
