I am currently building a .458 SOCOM using a RRA upperand had a question about BUIS.
I have a EoTech to drop on top, but like the idae of having BUIS

MCTAR-SPLP (same plain low profile)
and
MCTAR-FFG (front flip-up sight for gas block)
actually a picture is worth a thousand words

the front sight looks too tall , any help would be great
ugh just realized accordign to the web site the front sight needs to be turned around

what is your question?

the ffg typically folds to the front .
the set-up you have in the picture will work once you turn the front sight around.

I was worried I had bought the wrong front site,(it seems a bit tall)

it's my first time using folding sights, all my previous rifles are A2 config
a friend told me to get it complete and put some rounds through it.

the ffg is turned around now

I think you should listen to your friend and put some rounds through that thing.

please shoot the rifle .that is the correct sight (ffg) for that rifle.
