I noticed the CETME .308 listed on Atlantic's site. Has anyone actually bought one of these? Can you comment on the quality? I've read so many negative reviews about these rifles so I'm wondering if it's even worth considering one? I know Atlantic Firearms is only the reseller, so this is a knock on Century Arms. Most of the web reviews of CAI CETMEs seems to be a few years old, so I'm hoping their current batch of rifles are not plagued with head space issues, feeding/cycling problems, canted sights, rust, etc. While $500 is a tempting price, I'd rather not get stuck with an expensive paper weight. Can anybody vouch for these rifles or am I just better off saving my pennies for a PTR91?
Thanks in advance for any info. |
| The Cetme rifles are a OK budget gun built with surplus parts the PTR is a all new high end rifle it all depends on what you want to do with the rifle. So far we have not had any reported issues with the CETME rifles but again this is a bargain basement 308 rifle so do not have high expectations. |
