Going to get out my dedicated .22LR upper and make an attempt to get it running. Does CMMG produce a short, low profile magazine, suitable for shooting prone? capacity is not an issue, just need something to hold the bolt OPEN after each shot, so it is easy to load a cartridge. . . What do you have ? |

Bolt will only stay open after the last shot, not after every shot.

I have not seen CMMG sell a short mag, maybe they do. But I would personally get a 10 round SW MP 15-22 mag and a better mag adapter myself. That way you will have true Bolt Hold Open too. And the better mag adapter and SW mags are 100% reliable. I totally agree with this. My CMMG .22 upper now runs like a champ with the Boonie packer Adaptor |
