Anyone here got one of the new 308? If you do, how is it in the accuracy department?  Seemed like a great value for the $.

I've often wondered the same. If available, I would scoop one of their MK3's up.

Just picked up an MK3 (18" SS) a little over a week ago. Cabelas had them in stock (I know... I know... it's not the CBR but I was looking for an 18"). Well made, tight fit. Only problem was the wrong bolt catch was installed - odd since I bought it brand new, out of the box.

One email to CMMG later and a replacement bolt catch was on its way - great CS by the way. Replaced the bolt catch myself, took it to the range to zero it in. No problems ithrough the break-in. Everything fed nicely from the 20LR PMAGS (one included, one I purchased).

The included collapsible stock was a little sloppy so I replaced it with a Magpul ACS-L. I suspect the cheapie M4 stock was a commercial-spec tube while the tube was actually mil-spec (measured).

Shooting the MK3 - I'm ex military (armored recon) so I'm not coming in blind. Haven't shot anyting over 20 years but still got pretty decent groupings with the MK3. Recoil was manageable, much less than what I had expected.

Summary: Happy customer. :)

For the MK3 CBR, awesome looking rifle, just wondering why no forward assist?

I guess not many of these are out there. I have only seen one forum "review" and it was favorable. This is a fantastic looking gun and I like the rifle length gas system.

Are there any plans on offering the CBR upper?

If so, would it be without the Surefire muzzle brake?

Here in a couple of days uppers will be available on the website.

The CBR will be changing a little bit for 2014, the Surefire brake has been replaced with one of our own design.

Also new for 2014 is the Mk3 T, it's upper group is essentially the same just with a standard A2 Hider verses the muzzle brake.

Below is a long exposure photo of an 3rd burst from our full auto 12.5" barreled Mk3 with our new SV muzzle Brake, it does a great job of illustrating how little muzzle climb there is.
