Do the .22lr upper groups come with the .22lr bolt or would I have to buy a conversion kit as well?

Uppers are usually sold complete, minus sights and are ready to drop on.You can buy them without bolts though I believe.

I think almost anything is possible if arranged with CMMG properly..

Its sort of like the old Burger King commercials, "Have it your way......". CMMG is great with their menu approach, just buy what you need or want.
