I have a complete spikes lower and I am wanting to add your 22LR upper to it with the plan to suppress it as well.
What would be your recomendation. I want a low profile gas block on it as I will put a round free float on it as well. |

You don't even need a gas block with a free float tube. Here's a short 5"er
that's using a Clint Beyer Barrel and CMMG Bolt. Ron Williams built the suppressor for it and will use it full auto. No Gas block was used as it really serves no purpose unless you want BUIS. Dave S

5.56 can will work but wyou really need a .22 suppressor unless you have a 5.56 that will come apart for cleaning.
The .22 will leaves lots of gunk and lead in your 5.56 can. Not good when you switch back to 5.56. Like Spec said, you can remove the gas block. For what you want, the Sierra or M4 LEP will work. The gas block is set screw. Dave N |
