I bought a 22" Bull Barrel upper, what kind of accuracy can I expect out of it and what weight bullet would you recommend?  I don't reload at the moment so I need to be able to buy some factory loads to try and don't want to buy a bunch of stuff that will be a waste of money.

Am I the only person with a CMMG bull barrel upper?

I have a bull barreled upper, but not from CMMG. What you didn't mention was the twist rate on yours. Barrels in this style are noted for shooting very accurately, some even sub MOA once broken in and with a good shooter behind them...with the right ammo. I know I have a 24" Bull Barrel that does MOA without breaking out in a sweat once it was broken in and had the right "chow" feed to it. You should have a good shooting rifle with that upper.

Acciording to the CMMG web page it is a 1in9 twist.  However I cant find where it is marked on the barrel. What weight bullet would you reccomend for that twist? It is a 22" barrel.

1-9 is a great all around twist. Go here and read about what will work best with it:

.223 tech info

The 1-9 will work best with bullets in the 50-75 gr. range. Each gun is different. Some just shoot down the middle and use 62's. But, again, try some mid-weight rounds and see what works best in yours. I have heavier bullets but they state right on the box "For 1-8 or faster twists only". Considering the most common commercial ammo is in the 50-62 gr. range 1-9 is right on the spot for this range of ammo.
