I've got the carbine bolt on piston kit. It runs great, but with the bolt locked to the rear, the top of the carrier (what would be the gas key that rides in the charging handle channel) pushes the charging handle against the receiver causing it to drag badly. The charging handle is marred to hell and it's rubbed the anodizing off the receiver. Will it hurt anything to file down the side of where it is tight? You can clearly see on one side of the carrier where it rubs because it's shiny. I've tried the bolt in different receivers and with different charging handles with the same effect.
