The brown truck just delivered my CMMG upper and while inspecting it, I immediately noticed the hand-guards moving from side to side, further inspection revealed the hand-guard cap is loose. Please advise.

I sent my socom upper back about three weeks ago for the same problem hope to be getting it back soon. Been shooting ar-15 rifles for 15 years now have never came across this problem befor.

Some caps are tighter than others. Our M2s, M10s and M18s have zero retention on the handguard cap..
