John/Jeff, Is there any difference in the diameter of the barrel from the chamber to the front sight post between the lightweight 14.5" midlength and a 14.5" govt profile midlength? Thanks! |

The CMMG lightweights have completely ruined me from all other barrels. They are slightly thicker than the Bushy superlight (which is a good thing) but they are still much improved over the HBAR and A2 profiles. IIRC, CMMG has stated previously that the diameter of the barrels never drops below .610 or .600 or something like that. And now thanks to Hawkeye's mid-length thread, I want another 14.5" mid.
