How do you permanently attach your flash hiders? Are the phantom flash hiders the only ones you can use? What can be done if the FSB or handguard must be removed? Also, please see this thread as it kind of concerns your new lightweight upper: ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=118&t=335747 |

We drill a hole through the hider into the barrel threads and blind pin a hardened steel pin and then a steel pin. It is then welded over, ground down then reparked. We have a few different models of Phantom hiders along with Vortex, Miculek, Bennie Coolie and standard A1/A2 hiders. I haven't put glass to a lightweight before for a POI shift. Jeff |
