Just another newbie question. What are the advantages/disadvantages to the car/midlength gas systems on your upper assemblies or is it just preference? What is the preferred length on your 6.8 uppers? Do you also carry a plain jane freefloat for those of us who don't need a rail. Just drill and add a swivel stud for a bipod? Looking hard at buying one of your 6.8 SPC uppers. Thanks |

Midlength gives you the increased sight radius and longer handgaurds. This is especially good if you are using a bipod; it gives you room for your support hand. I personally like the mid gas on the 6.8s (& .223s too)--the recoil seems 'softer'. We do have standard free float tubes, but don't list them. Drop us an email if you'd like a quote on a specific build. Thanks, Jeff |
