I have 2 BCM uppers, one brand new. I went to put the new upper on the lower I have and I noticed the lower overhangs the upper on the ejection port side. Is this in spec?

there was a guy with the same issue in here, It might not look like you want, but it is more than likely in spec.

I bought a new assembled lower this week and there is play between the BCM upper and the lower!

Non critical dimension specs are generally pretty wide.  From your pic, there is absolutely nothing wrong.  You should see the weapons I was issued in while I was in the service.
