Pat,

I take it the regular single output Fury has one of those damn twist/momentary caps vs. the clicky cap of the EAG model? If so, I'm glad I haven't bought one yet as the clicky cap is what I need and will be saving my pennies up for the EAG model.

The Defender has a clickie, but also that silly DNA collecting bezel, The rest have the momentary cap.

SF worked with us to have this model, and we have been running the snot out of them

I'm going to order one when they are back in stock. Am I correct that the Fury fits in the LT606 with 1.04 rings? If so I'll order that too.

My PredatAR needs a new light.

Thanks.  There was literally 2 minutes in between the email notifying me, and the "thanks for your order" email from BCM.

Congrats to you and Paul for either pushing Surefire into doing the right configuration, or somehow doing it yourself for the same price.  Either way is a win for you.

So are these good for mounting on a weapon or just pocket? I ask because I remember reading something that the Fury cannot handle recoil.

Pat has designated these as GTG for WML.

Thanks for verifying.

We have been running 8 of them, two of which we have had for 6 months.

Remember that "THEY" said the G2X was not suitable for WML. and the G2 before that.

Funny, they have all been GTG as WML.

Thanks Pat

I wonder what the trigger is from SF that they see them to be not suitable.

Surefire did not build in weapon-specific shock mitigation. This does not mean that the light is not built to a suitable level. Also, if they said that the Fury was ok for WML use, then they would sell about zero of their purpose-built WMLs.

Glad the vid clip helped.
This was part of a Panteao Intro to Shoot House video, and we felt that the stand alone clip would provide information to those seeking it.

We are currently teaching a Shoot House/ Combat Lifesaver class at the Columbia County Sheriff's Office in Appling.
Half the shooters were running Fury's, and the difference was apparent.

The shoot house is within a structure, and the place is flat black dark, while the interior walls are white.

No one was *blinded*, bor did anyone suffer male pattern baldness or have ED

The white walls did not cause a dazzling which distracted anyone.

But it helped guys see what they needed to see.

Here two Gaithersburg MD cops have engaged, and are collapsing there sectors of fire.
The shooter in the right is illuminating the downed MILF, while the shooter on the left is pointing his gun at the opposite side of the room.

The hot spot center and the corona are well defined in this image.

Thanks for the update. That looks amazing. Good to hear there is no reflecting blindness or ED

Pat, tell Paul that he needs to stock the correct SMC mount for the Fury now.  I bought the SMC to put a Surefire G3X or whatever it was that you were recommending in it previously, but the light was out of stock up until you said that the Fury was the current standard.  I sent off to IWC for the correct ring, but it brings to light a small deficiency in Paul's offerings.

This is the mount I'm referring to:
http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/SMC-1-Light-Mount-N-Slot-p/iwc-lsmc100f0.htm

It is a great mount if you are running the MOE handguard.

ETA:  Since you work so closely with Paul, maybe he can sell the EAG Fury as a combo with the SMC, Viking Tactics mount, or the LT mount (which he doesn't currently carry.)

Just a suggestion.  Don't mean to step on toes.

I'm waiting for my email to say the EAG is back in stock but the mount is up in the air.

I'm looking at the LaRue off set mount (which I think is the 707) but need to insure it will allow me to lower my Troy front sight.

Planning on the 11 o'clock position.....

-Will the Fury except a remote switch if I have to move it to 1 o'clock...?

-Anyone got a pic of a Fury in the offset LaRue..?

Pat- As a side note have you tested SF new rechargeable light for a handheld ? Need one for the car....
