I recently purchased a 16" mid length upper. The lower I put it on has a carbine buffer. I finally got to shoot it this past weekend and it was flawless. Just curious if I should use a heavier buffer or not. Thanks

My 16" middy works great with a heavy buffer. If you're happy with what you've got, though, I wouldn't fix it if it ain't broke.
