I'm just wondering if I will live long enough to get a Bravo BCM 16 inch middy upper ? can anyone shed some light on this subject ? I have 1 BCM M4 16 inch I bought 2 years ago and have wanted a middy for over a year and they are always out of stock . I was forced to buy a LMT 16 inch M4 upper from Bravo last year because they were out of the BCM upper and the LMT is great and all ,but IMHO no better than the BCM. what's a guy gotta do to get a BCM 16 inch middy upper ?

I know, what's going on?  I've been wanting to buy a BCM upper for over a year now, and they're never ever in stock.

From what I've read, they ar ehaving trouble getting steel that meets their requirements. Why that is I don't know.

If that's the case, I'd rather wait it out and get the quality that BCM is known for.  But man, the wait is killer.  Any updates?

Now that there are similar middy barrels on the market (N4, ADS, and Sabre), I would like to see a lightweight middy barrel made for a .625 FSB.  Any chance of that?

I don't know if we can get too particular, the standard middy isn't out yet and it's been a loooooong time.  They say late summer 08.  But I can't help but wonder if this isn't going to go the way of most other manufacturers.  That is, soon it'll be Winter of 08, then Q1 2009.....  I mean, BCM won't even respond to this thread.

I emailed them and that's what their answer is.

I'll be HAPPY just to have either of their uppers.

+1

If BCM offered a lightweight I'd be there with money in hand yelling "me, me... pick me" but at this point I'd settle for a Government contour.

A Ltw barrel with .625" FSB with middy gas system would be the ultimate! Like you I would settle for the Gov.= nearly the ultimate.
