I have a stag 6.8 spc upper with 1/2 x 36 threading.  Is it possible to switch it to 5/8 x 24 (308 style) or 1/2 x 28 so that I can add a FH for my suppressor?  

Or do I have to pay for the barrel to be cut and rethreaded?

If sent in for work it would be barrel only, I'd take it apart.

With the replace destroyed threads service, we can turn those threads into 5/8x28.

If you dont mind chopping the 1/2x36 threads off it would be much cheaper to just cut/thread .
