[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Thread M&P .45 Barrel

I bought a Factory threaded M&P barrel from S&W but it is too long for my pistol and wont fit. I have the midsized model with 4" Barrel.

Can you cut this down and thread to fit my pistol? This is going to be used with a Octane K .45 if it matters.

Will you need the slide or just the barrel?

Original barrel as well or just the one I want cut down & threaded?
