I'm looking as installing a Vltor low profile gas block (2 set screws, no cross pin) on a Daniel Defense 16" gov't profile barrel. The barrel has no dimples (and no cross pin groove). Should I send the barrel and gas block in to have it dimpled for a more robust build, or will the set screws alone and no dimples be enough to hold it?
FYI, I'm going to be running a Larue LT15-10 handguard. |
