got some questions on a barrel project.
here is what i was wanting done and/or if it can be done.

ive got a 24" heavy bull chambered in .204(see below)

im wanting to make it 20",thread the muzzle and turn the diameter down to .750 from  the gas block to the muzzle.

i pretty much want it to look like the other image below, its a 20"...SDM contour

this is on my varmint rig and the whole setup weighs a ton. just trying to lighten it up some.

do you see any issues with this proposal? i can live with the minimal drop in velocity but will i lose any accuracy?

im wanting this done, so if it can be done what wiil the cost be to cut off 4", thread the muzzle and contour the remaining 7" of barrel?

As long as 6 flutes under the HG, and a smooth front works, yes. We do not offer those really thin flutes.

You would need a Threading for standard barrel $65, which includes the cut, Contour FWD of gas block $65, and a Flute under the HG, 6 flutes, $79.

thanks for the reply, glad you can help me out,
but just to clarify. the barrel im sending doesnt need any work from the barrel ext to the gas block..the only contouring is from the gas block forward and no fluting, just smooth,
so, just the work for the threading/cut and a smooth non fluted contour from the gas block to the muzzle...and ill prolly add in bead blasting.

i read the post on  "tips for placing a shop service order" so im up to speed what you guys need to make this as smooth as possible.
