It's kinda not round.  Where are you asking them to thread it?  Did'ja want'em to tap it?

A picatinny rail for a optic.

The receiver can be drilled and tapped for scope mounts.  You could even drill and tap and screw down a section of Picatinny rail on top, if that's what you want to do. I wonder what that would cost.....

Would run around $50.

Other than the gun do I need to include anything else?
Can I drop it off at Adco this saturday, and how long do you think it will take?

They won't even need the full gun, if you want to just bring them the receiver, that should be fine.  Generally it's less than a week for drop off to pick up, but it is the busy time.

While you're there, take a peek at the SBS Remington 870 in the gun case.  That's a Picatinny Rail screwed onto a Rem 870 Action.  Looks bad-ass.
