Have you guys produced or customized an AR rifle to be used on the ACR? If so what are we looking at in regards to the fabrication costs? thanks steve |
I own an ACR and am frustrated Bushmaster is dragging it's feet releasing the extra barrels and clamber kits  .
To answer your question it seems to me it could be done but probably not worth it since sooner than latter BM is going to release drop in systems. First off you would need to stick with something with a mid length gas system (not sure of the gas port size on the ACR) unless you could get an extended OP rod and spring, then you would need all of the other parts, gas block, guide rod block, locking ratchet assembly, act. Could it be done yes, has it been done yes but seems to me it will be time consuming and expensive IMO.
