Hi,

I have a few questions I need to resolve before I send in my order and items for
the Barrel Threading For AR and other standard Barrels shop service.

I recently purchased a CMMG 22LR upper and would like to have the barrel cut
down to mimic a 5.56 mm 10.5" upper in appearance.

1. I see on your web site that I can send in the barrel with the FSB attached
and barrel nut assembly still on the barrel.  Does this incur any additional
cost for disassembly / reassembly to ship it back everything in place?

2. The 22LR barrel extends into the upper receiver by about 1.5 inches, so I
assume I should request the total barrel length of 12".  Based on your
experience, does this sound correct?

3.  I will be attaching a Gemtech Quicksnaps for use with a Gemtech G522.
According to their web site, the Quicksnap is a Phantom style flash hider that
is threaded 1/2-28 x 0.500" OAL, so this will be the required barrel thread.

Are there any additional items that I might need to address?

In the past, I included a diagram with the barrel I sent in just to be sure the length I wanted was clear. In my case, I needed a reduced OD relief cut for a Gemtech Halo barrel nut clearance.

1. Nope thats included in the threading price.

2. You can just tell us to measure it as if its a 5.56 barrel, or included a small diagram.

3. Just tell us what thread length you need or if you want a relief at the back of the threads.
