I'm wondering if you guys are capable of threading my CZ-452 Lux in 1/2x28mm for my AAC Prodigy. Here's the catch... I want to keep the iron sights. There's less then half an inch clearance between the front of the front sight base and the end of the muzzle. I'm thinking in order to make this work, you'd need to put an extension on the barrel just long enough to thread. What do you think? |

Hi Doc That would work as well, however, I'm not sure how the front sight base is secured to the barrel. It could be silver soldered or it could be a sleeve. If the latter, it would seem to me that the taper of the barrel would require you to split the sleeve to put it further back. Let me know...

Quoted: well, you have 2 options, a thread extension which is kind of pricey, or we can just thread it .450 long. Thats a std length for quite a few .22lr cans The question is whether .450 length would be long enough to attach my Prodigy and secure it there. I suppose you could undercut the front sight base a bit... |

Many are .40" so if you have something longer than that you can shim/spacer out the additional length. |
