[ARCHIVED THREAD] - cutting 22lr barrel

will be buying a CMMG upper M4LEP .22lr

I will remove barrel from upper receiver

want the barrel cut down to 8 1/4"

rethread barrel.

can you do that to this barrel, or is there a problem?

cost is 65.00 + return shipping & insurance right?

I will be marking where I want the barrel to be cut with tape.

is there an extra charge for removing the A1 flash hider & reinstall on new cut barrel?

If you are looking to run a silencer on it at some time you might consider and shorter length to keep less-expensive bulk pack .22lr ammo subsonic.... if not then carry on.

i believe their barrels are "wasp" finish and not park if that matters...
