yes they are custom What are the stats on that barrel? Im looking for a 16" SS version in 1 in 8... I can get a SS 16" version in 1:7 pretty easy, but 1:8 isnt on the radar. And that will fit my KAC folding FSB pinned in the rifle position for a dissy build? Are those barrels pretty accurate? Do you know who makes the blanks? Can they be ionbonded or coated in some way black? What would be the cost? |

Im having a little bit of buyers remorse with how I got my Noveske contoured to fit a .650 FSB for the one I just did. I was told by someone who knows a lot more than I do that re-contouring a SS was a no no, especially to that size since its not as hard as CM. Also was told that when the barrel heats up, (and it will even faster now that its thinner) that I will lose accuracy. Thats not really what I want since this rifle will be something I will want to run and gun with and then make further shots with as well after a run and gun. What do you think? |

In the context of a carbine, contouring SS is no problem at all. Where would it be a problem? In f class competition and sustained full auto. So contouring a SS down to .750 or even .625 is GTG in your opinion for the occasional weekend class / hobbyist ? |
