About 5 yrs ago I had Frank Manhardt of Marshall's Creek, PA put a AR-22 together. It worked out great but the barrel was 1.25" dia under the handguard and .750 dia from HG to the muzzle. It weighed a ton. I pulled the barrel and had Adco turn it to .64 dia under the HG and put six flutes on the remaining length. Also has the muzzle threaded 1/2-28 TPI for a YHM brake. Got it back in approximately 1 week with everything done as requested. A much nicer handling weapon now. Great work guys! Will be sending in my mid-length barrel shortly for similar work. |
