I have this upper height gas block on an M4 profile barrel:

Gas Block

Can you drill and pin it?  The set screws seem to be holding up fine, but i would prefer to have it pinned as well.

What would something like this cost and what would be the turnaround time?

Thanks very much.

Yes, we can. Cost is $35 plus actual shipping. Turn is 5 to 7 business days, in house.

[Mr. Burns] Excellent [/Mr. Burns]

Would you guys use a taper pin or a roll pin (my S&W uses a taper pin which I like but don't know if that is how they are all done)?  It has 3 set screws, I would like 2 pins, one in each space between the screws.  would that be complete overkill or would it be worth spending a little extra money to get 2 since you will already have it under the press?

Sorry, I should have asked these questions in my OP.

Thanks again!

We use a solid straight pin. 1 pin is plenty, if you want two, add $20 (but you do not need two).

OK, if you say one pin is good, that is good enough for me.

I have the gas blocks on pretty darn straight, but do you check them before you pin them or will you just leave then where I have them?

I assume I should remove the bolt carrier, charging handle and sights from the upper before I send it, right?

Do I send it and then you bill me and then send it back?

Do I check out on your web site and then send it?

Thanks for your help!

We check it, unless you note to "Pin as is".  Order, Checkout, then Send, but your card will not be billed until item ready to ship back.  Yes, remove BCG, CH and sights.
