I have a RRA 16" Hbar that I would like to have recontoured as I would like to lighten it up as much as possible (since I also read you lose more weight with a recontour vs fluting).  My question is:

How much of a difference in weight loss do you get from contouring under the handguards vs full barrel contouring?

Im not sure on the exact weight, but under the handguards you lose alot of weight, the front is already pretty thin and can only be turned so much, in my opinion its not worth the extra money. But thats just my $.02

If i sent it in, would this price be correct?  It's part of a complete upper with no HGs.

Just wanted to say thanks to Steve and the rest of they guys in ADCO.  I sent out my package June 23 and received it today.  Can't believe you guys got it done that fast!

Feels like a huge difference.  Rifle feels more balanced and the work is top notch.  Thanks also for smoothening the base of the front site and reparking it  (pleasent surprise).

You guys are great!  I couldn't be any happier.

My pleasure, And thanks for your business, we try to make everyone happy. As far as the FSB was concerned, i noticed it was a little jagged and as long as i am working on it it is a simple and easy fix.
