I have two barrels I would like cut, crowned,  threaded, and pinned.  One is a .223, the other a 9mm.

I already have phantoms for them.

The 9mm, can it safely be threaded to 1/2-28, and then pinned?

I have removed the barrels from the receivers for shipping.  Do I save if I remove the front sight blocks, or would you rather I leave them installed for proper indexing?

I would like pricing information on the work.

Thanks,

All Shop Services pricing and ordering info is listed at our website.

Place your order online HERE

No need to remove the FSBs.

Standard 9mm thread is 1/2-36, we've done a few to 1/2-28, but I recommend against it, so no one inadvertantly installs a 5.56mm FS on a 9mm barrel. It's up to you.

i are still a bit confuxed.  I see thread and perm attach cust. supplied fS for $62.  I just can't tell if  cutting is extra or in that price, and whether you can perm. attach the one to the 9mm. the perm attach fixes the thread/accidental wrong swap problem.

I have two new and never installed .223 phantoms.  Could you swap me for the 36 pitch 9mm?  I have a 5C2 and the one with 4 flutes.  If not, one needs to be opened up for the 9.

Sorry for the headache.  I would like to get these on the way to you.  Do you do VISA?  I could add things to the shopping cart on your site, but could not figure out how to check out or pay.  Am I supposed to pay on line and then send it in, or do you give me an order number and then I pay?  It isn't happy hour yet, but I feel like a rock trying to figure out how to spend money at your business.

I thought I was the only one who could not figure out your pricing for services. I have a Colt HBAR post ban that I want a Phantom FS threaded on to. I also need the front sight removed and a YHM free float handguard and a rock river gas block installed. I have all the componets, I just need gunsmithing services.

I am still waiting for a reply.  I would really like to get these barrels on the road.

I guess it's a test. If you can't figure out the price list, you don't get services!

Cutting is included. No problem perm-attaching.

We can open it up for the 9mm.  Use the Special Instructions box on the checkout form ("Lock & Load" button) to request this.

Thanks for the help.  I will process this and get it out tomorrow.  I use some pretty clunky websites to try to get info and spend the company's money every day.  Trust me when I say your site is a bit clunky.  Lock and load may be cute, but when you have seen "check out" or "pay now" or such several thousand times, lock and load just doesn't stand out readily as a hot button. This has cost my projects some time that I just don't have to waste.

I get it.  Just saying.  I know from experience that you either suffer in silence or you say something hoping that it will be fixed.  I have been paid up to one thousand dollars an hour for my opinion and evaluation of situations and equipment.  Consider this free.  When people are trying to spend money and cannot reach you by phone, or cannot figure out your website, it is costing you dearly.  If it weren't for the band of brothers here at arfcom, I wouldn't know about your outstanding service and wouldn't have gone this far in securing your services.  Thanks for your honesty.

(I will have a nice lathe and mill next year, woo hooo!!!)
