Well, seeing that there's an Adco rep checking in here I thought I'd post some questions here instead of waiting for tomorrow to come and go and trying to stick a phone call to Adco into the Monday schedule. They're about an upper I'd like to buy from Adco for a post-ban Bushmaster(assembled) lower w/A2 stock I have.

I am interesting in a basic rifle configuration for a 1st AR for a casual shooter; I am thinking a basic HBAR 20" A2 in 5.56, and I'd like a post-ban muzzle brake if that's not going to add too much to the total, or require copius amounts of time. Does this sound like the right solution and how much does a basic brake for that cost?

I see on the site that there isn't specific mention of chambering - are they all 5.56 or Wylde or.223 or is that something you can specify in an order?

That's it for now. thanks for your time...

The 20" A2 uppers are Wylde chambered. Getting one with a brake is an additional $75, and will take 2 business days to ship. You cant go wrong with the standard 20" A2.

Thanks for the info! Sounds great. h
1. When it comes to ordering online, do I just put a note about adding a post-ban brake and you'll modify the total later?

2. With a plain muzzle brake installation, (not the type described in the pic http://www.adcofirearms.com/rra/m4short.jpg on the site), do you shorten the 20" barrel at all or does the brake add length to the overall length of the rifle?

3.Another one - that's two business days from when the order is placed, right? And what type of shipping do you use?

4. Hrmm, about chambering. I had wanted to go with 5.56 chambering - just on recommendation of various ammo FAQs and the advice of a friend with a Colt AR in .223, whose been looking for a 5.56 upper himself. Wylde will pretty much handle most ammo, then? Any variety of .223 to 5.56?

Thanks again!

>Correct.

> its up to you, just let me know. Standard with 20" barrels is to just add on the end.

3.Another one - that's two business days from when the order is placed, right? And what type of shipping do you use?

Correct, two business days after order is placed, or should I say 48 business hours?

Thanks again!
