I want to purchase a URB Stock for a DPMS .308 lower I'm building.

I have an adjustable tube and a buffer.

Can I use the tube or does the URB come with a proprietary tube?

UBR 2 is longer, and so is the receiver extention. A5 length, IIRC.

More suitable for .308 pattern.

Called magpul.
They said the UBR will fit .308 with the included tube.
I need a buffer and a spring.
Std tube is a no go.

I know that the UBR will fit the 308.
The UBR 2 will be a better fit.

Ubr 2 is cheaper, as well as being 20% lighter (just lift weights and you will be good)
