I put MBUS sights on my new rail and went to zero the rifle and had to adjust the windage all the way to the left to get it zeroed. Has anyone else had this problem? I know it's just the backup sights but I'd like to be able to rely on them and I just don't like it that I have no more adjustment left. My rail is centered, my barrel is torqued properly. and I am using good parts, Wilson Combat Barrel and ODIN Works 15.5 rail. Any comments or ideas are welcome.

You should be reasonably close to center with any standard zero. If you have another rail mounted set of sights try those and see if they are also way over too.

In any case if you need to exchange the MBUSs just to make sure let us know and we will swap them out for you.

I don't have another set of sights, so I can't check that way. I have checked my barrel is centered in my rail, so I am stumped. I know my barrels OK because it is shooting nice tight groups even though they are not as close as I would like because of the windage being maxed out.

^^^ What he said.
And it may not be the sights fault either.
The barrel centered in the rail means nothing if the receiver nose/threads are not square relative to the centerline of the receiver. Even a slight error of .00025 ( one quarter of one thousandth) will have a dramatic effect at any distance.
Check the crown of the barrel as well.
Short of having things such as a dial indicator, lathe and arbor to check the best way is to hang different sights on it.

Shoots great with the Scope on. and I know the threads are centered to the upper because my last barrel which was a cheap one shot fine with my last sights and the EOTech I had on it. I changed the rail and barrel and got MBUS sights because I sent back my EOTech and replaced it with a Vortex Viper PST.

What windage adjustments did you have to make with the optic?

Left and down, but still have plenty left. Took everything apart today checked the gas tube for wear, took my calipers and measured the threads from the upper and ran a straight edge across it everything seems OK. Retorqued the barrel and did a quick bore sight made some adjustments. Have to take it back to the range and see.
