The MBUS Pro Enhanced Front Sight Post is an upgrade for both the MBUS Pro and the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sights.

Featuring a rectangular cross-section, the MBUS Pro Enhanced Front Sight Post offers the user the option of a 0.040” Match profile for precision shooting or a standard 0.060” profile for visibility without changing posts. Simply raise the post until it spins freely and rotate 90-degrees to present the other sight profile, then lower the post to its original position and confirm zero. The Match width side of the post has a marking dimple for easy identification during installation.

Precision machined of alloy steel, the sight post features a Mil-Spec manganese phosphate finish for corrosion resistance and abrasion protection.

Made in U.S.A., MSRP $9.95

Will these come standard on the MBUS PRO front sights now or will these only be offered as a replacement option?

Simply turn the adjustment barrel until the sight post is free of the threads, replace it with the new one, and turn the adjustment barrel the opposite direction to lower the post down.

Yeah, if you look, the front sight in the pic above has a square channel that the sight post slides up and down in.  You just crank it all the way out, lift it up out of the square hole, flip it to the other side (skinny or fat, whichever you want), and drop it back in the square hole and tighten it down to the right height.  This is really interesting and (to me) differentiates the Magpul front sights from others.  Simplistic design that lets you choose a sight post thickness while still getting full range of elevation adjustment.  Neato.

Now if there was just a way to pop from one to the other without losing adjustment.
