I just received a set of MBUS Pro sights. I can't get the back one to install straight. I thought that issue had been resolved, so I'm unsure of whether it's an issue with my sight or something else.

Here's a quick video that shows the behavior. Nothing I do seems to change how it tightens on the rail.

I had the same issue when I bought a set when they came out. I gave Magpuls CS a call and they sent me a replacement free of charge, very quick response and shipment, Magpul is a class company. The only problem was the sight they sent me did the same thing so I boxed them up and sent them back to Brownells and got a refund. Since then I know a lot of people have had the same problems and I have kept an eye on the thread here to see when they finally worked out the bugs on these cause I really like them. Hopefully you got one of the old batch ones, I was hoping this would be cleared up by the summer because I planned on getting another set. I'm not knocking Magpul bacause things happen and they have a lot on their plate with their move and all the other new things they are releasing but until I see less of these posts I'm gonna wait to order another set. Give their CS a call and they will make it right if they can and make sure you update us on the results.

Hmm. So that is the issue I read about? I honestly thought they had recently resolved it. Maybe I got one of the old ones somehow. I'll get in touch with Magpul. Thanks for the confirmation.

Yep it sounds like you got an old one. Issue is resolved in production and we will send out a new one to you along with covering the postage.
