In MI u can only have 5rnds in mag for hunting soo I bought the 5rnd plug for 20rnd mags !
Long story short the notch on the plug bottom does not line up with the base plate ! It only goes in one way and I have 3rd gen mags ! Anybody else had this problem ! |

Also, are you sure you have the ones designed for G3 PMAGs? I'm thinking you might have G2 limiters since it isn't lining up as G2s were straight and G3s are curved. |

Do they require that you have a limiter? I mean - can you just load 5 rounds and be honorable or does there need to be some form of limiter? I'm not trying to poop in your thread but, *could* you just load up with 15 rounds of snap-caps and top off with live ammo? |

sounds like you're using a limiter intended for the older straight 20 round magazines in a new M3 curved 20 round magazine. Agree I think it is designed for older mags once I figure it out I will be trading 3 new 20rnd mags ! I sent an email with pic to magpul waiting on an answer ! |

| That's what the issue is. The curved and straight mags use different limiters. The Gen M3 limiters are made in -5 and -10 varieties, meaning a -5 in a 10 rounder will give you 5 rounds, and a -10 in a 20 rounder will give you 10 rounds. The GEN M3 limiters fit all GEN M3 mags. |
