First off i own multiple CTR, MOE, and ACS stocks an they all kick ass. You keep making stocks an i keep having to build rifles to put them on. Anyways i just got an STR and noticed. a couple things different. First did you guys change the rubber the butpads were made out of over the past couple years? It definitely compared to my others seem to be softer or a different texture an has a strong rubber smell compared to the 5 others? Also on my ACS the foot of the stock has a metal insert in it an the STR has a plastic insert why the plastic insert on the STR ? Nothing wrong just curious.
