so I have several Magpul MS3 slings... and the push button would be a FAR better option on two of them.. how do I go about getting just the attachment piece.. I called customer service and they would not help me..
As a loyal customer I really don't think it is reasonable for me to have to purchase a whole new $50 sling when the part I need is obviously just a separate piece.. |

Old topic. Asked many times even by myself. Not gonna happen. Sorry that's ashame.. great products... not so wonderful customer service, when you consider other companies will at times GIVE gear to help out the customer.. I am not even asking for a handout... I just want to buy a part that will make my weapon system better.. but whatever.. they will not help.. I will just un-stitch the hook and put it back together with a push button.. unfortunate that I should even have to go through the trouble... but I am not buying ANOTHER 2 slings at $50 each because the product changed marginally to my benefit.. thanks for the response.. |
| judging by the way the sling is made, there's no way to swap the ends of the sling out without unstitching it, which would void any sort of warranty, and be a major pain in the rear end to do. As annoying as it is, it would probably be cheaper in the long run to buy a couple of the QD version and sell your other ones on the EE for a few bucks less than retail, then you'll only be out a few bucks to swap to the design you prefer. |
| I seem to remember in the 2012 catalog that they were going to offer just the buckle part with either QD or MS3 clip. This would be very helpful to those of us with QD cups and ASAP plates on different rifles. I think you could just unweave the sling from the buckle and install the new end piece. I would imagine both could be installed at once, that is if you dont mind an extra buckle flopping around. |
