Did a quick search, didn't find anything. Is there a PMAG identification thread out there somewhere?
I ask cause I got a couple FG maglevel PMAGs, and noticed the followers and springbase were black, and there were no numbers by the window. They were made in 09 per the little dial icon. My other FG Maglevel was made in '11, and has the numbers and a FG follower and springbase. I ordered it straight from Magpul, so I'm pretty sure it's as new as could be at that time. I also have some 20 rounders that I am pretty sure are 1st Gen, but don't know for sure. |

Huh, figured someone out there had an obsessively detailed list of all the revisions, complete with photos. Oh well. Not a big deal, the mags all work, and that's all that really matters, I suppose.
Something else I noticed, the window on the newest maglevel is absolutely HUGE compared to the old ones. There's also changes to several other areas, mostly the pat pending and logos and such. |

Foliage followers are in the second gen 'M-Rev' magazines. (M-Rev also enlarged the window) There is a picture around somewhere on the internet showing all the differences. |
