Will any after market front sight post fit this sight?  I want to get a hi vis post instead of the black.

I tried to put a Trijicon front sight in and it was NOT compatible.

The Gen 2 MBUS uses a standard Colt-spec A2 front sight post.  However an aftermarket tritium post, depending on its design, may or may not be compatible with our detent and/or protective wings.

Justin, does the post base sit in a recessed pocket like the original AR sight base, or does it stick up like the MBUS 1?
