Anyone know if the MOE Rifle length handguard will fit on DCM type Freefloat tube?

while i'm not familiar with the DCM freefloat tube, i do know that the magpul handguards make use of the stock deltaring and hand guard retaining thingy by the front site base.  freefloat hanguards typically don't have those items, so i don't believe what you are suggesting would work.

Are you talking about the kind of free float tube that RRA includes on their National Match A2s? If the tube has an integral handguard cap and accepts A2 handguards, there's no reason why it shouldn't take a MOE handguard.

A NM freefloat tube has the front handguard triangle cap and the rear Delta ring.  A standard set of rifle length handguards fit over the NM freefloat tube so I see no reason that the Magpul rifle length handguards would not as well.

You may have to remove the heat shield, it has a hard time fitting over anything greater than 1" diameter.

You shouldn't need it with the inner tube anyway.

Thanks guys, I guess I'll have to order a set and try them out.
