Just mounted an AFG gen-1 on a Carbine length handguard. Mounted as far forward as I could and the front tab sits under the FSB an the bayonet lug. I am worried that this may provide an opportuniyt for snagging. Has anyone else ran an AFG like this?

i tried it when i first bought an AFG, didnt like it... couple months later, i got some Troy rails and was able to push the grip out further and ended up really liking it.
i have switched back to the VFG now... i can get just about the same grip, but can also use it like a broom handle when desired. |
