MagPul, which of your stocks fits the AR-10 besides the PRS? I was looking into putting a another stock on my AR-10 but want to ensure it will fit before purchase.

All of the Magpul stocks will fit/function as long as you use the proper buffer/spring.  The PRS has an AR-10/SR-25 specific model because of the adjustable comb riser.  The AR-10 has a specifically designed riser that sits further back than the AR-15 to allow the longer AR-10 CH to function properly.

So that means for example, a AR-15 UBR will fit an Eagle Arms/Armalite AR-10 correct?

There is no "AR15 UBR" per se.  It is just a UBR which is why it can be used across the AR-platform world including the AR-10/SR-25 rifles/carbines.  Using the UBR on your AR-10 is no problem, BUT you will need to run one of these buffer/spring kits from ARFCOM member Slash:

I see.

In regards to buffers and such, i was intending to run a lightweight bolt carrier assembly with an adjustable gas block, tuned to the rifle. Does the buffer in this type of system need be heavy, or can it a be a lightweight type?

i used a standard ar10 spring and a recoil reducing shorty buffer i picked up off brownells and am using a acr stock on my cmmg/dpms 308ar with a standard 5 position buffer tube.  according to the techs at brownells the spring if needed could have 2 coils removed for proper function. just my 2cents worth.

Slash's buffers are awesome. You can use a standard AR15 buffer tuber with Slash's buffers with a modified buffer spring, which is also available from Slash.

I got the XH buffer for use with a suppressor in the future.
