+1.

I bought the Gen 1 and then like 3 days later I see they're coming out with Gen 2.

The gen 1 is in production, the gen 2 isn't.  If you look at the picture in the Magpul 2010 catalog, you can see its a bit lower profile, but I'm not sure the design is the same as what was shown there.  I know Magpul takes its R&D pretty serious, so there is always the possibility they have made changes and improvements since the initial concept of the gen 2.

Gen 1 is reality.  Gen 2 comes from the land of pixies, fairies, and unicorns

I'm starting to think it's vaporware considering the lawsuit from Dickhead Swan.

Slight flaw there...... If it were vapor based on a lawsuit, the Gen 1 wouldn't be in production right now.

Well if the suit is awaiting judgment, and there's a possibility that they'd have to shut down. . . then it would be wise to keep churning out gen 1's instead of spending money on R&D and re-tooling for gen2's that they may not get to sell for long.  :)

I am referring to the Gen2 which was supposed to be out by now.  We usually get pics or some hint when these get close to shipping, but nothing.  Plus I figure they're waiting on the lawsuit to see if they have to make any changes.  Therefore my comments.

I just gave up on the MBUS2 and ordered some BUIS from LaRue.  I will probably end up getting them when they come out still, I just got sick of not having flip ups on it.

Wait, is this fucker suing people again. Because if I recall correctly, Magpul came out with polymer sights before ARMS did.

If that's true, then they are thin skinned pussies.

Magpul no longer gives release dates, and has not for awhile.  After stating that for the past year or so, I don't believe they check all the "when" threads to reply, name calling involved or not.

Those were made for the KRISS Super V because the gun was supposed to be able to be fired like a pistol or a rifle. Those weren't 1st gen, just a special sight made for TDI
