I just ordered my first ubr and was disappointed to read in this forum that the second cheek piece is no longer included with the new ubr's. Is there a reason they are no longer included?

The narrow UBR cheek piece was only about 0.085" skinnier per side than the one that comes installed. It was so close, in fact, that most people thought it was just a spare and didn't even realize it was a different cheek piece. Because of this, and because it was just one more piece to mold to slow production, we discontinued it.

I may switch the rifle over to a carbine at some point, and want to keep my options open. |
