I have decided that since Magpul has not responded, that the M14/M1A mag must already be in the works.

yeah... a man can still give it a shot though. I figure if they were decidedly not going to be doing it ever they might say so... so their lack of response gives me some hope.

Magpul has stated before that a polymer magazine would not hold up to the M14's attachment system.

Oh I realize that it would be unlikely that a completely polymer mag would hold up, but it would not be difficult to engineer a few pieces of steel or aluminum internally in the mag at the attachment points.  



I'll just have to keep hoping.

How about some higher cap mags for the Savage 10fpc?
