Howdy Magpul,
Trying to install a new MIAD full kit on my 9mm AR and running into a bit of an issue. I can't get the setscrew in  I've sat here for 45 minutes or so both with the MIAD on the gun and off trying to get this hole threaded...any tips?
ETA - It is entirely possible that I'm a retard so feel free to call me on that

Get a man to do it.
I keeeeed, I keeeeed. I didn't have any trouble with mine, though. Just had to keep constant pressure on it, while screwing it in, until the threads bit into the plastic. It's kind of pain to keep pressure on the screw, given the size/shape of the hex wrench. |
