I was wandering around the gun show today and saw some FDE MBUS sitting on some plain brown boxes so I decided to take a closer look. Instead of the Magpul logo on the body they had the letters MI sideways with a circle around it and on the flip up section MBUS was engraved. I got a picture of the rear sight that I’ll post as soon as I figure out how to get it off of my phone. I couldn’t get a picture of the front sight before one of the guys behind the counter came over to “help” me. I did notice that the front sight post was completely different. It was a simple post that was squared off but threaed all the way up to the smaller post section at the top.
Edit: Sorry for the crappy picture. I didn't buy my phone for its picture taking ability. Even without being able to see much detail you can see the differences in the shape of the sight aperture and the knobs on both sides.
